Legisly covers the California legislature via leginfo.legislature.ca.gov — every bill, amendment, vote, committee analysis, hearing, legislator, and committee. Bill search is both keyword and semantic.

Local government and multi-state coverage are planned for future phases. Today the ingested dataset is the California legislature; the AI assistant on Intelligence and Team can web-search beyond it.

Coming soon This one is in development, not shipped. The plan: capture and transcribe CA legislative hearings in real time with speaker identification and timestamp linking, then generate hearing summaries, extract key moments, detect votes, and score relevance per client.

What you get today is the hearing schedule from the Assembly and Senate daily file, committee analyses, and the support/opposition register for each bill.

The Client Intelligence Portal is a white-labeled, read-only login that you give to your clients. Each client sees a live bill status dashboard, hearing alerts, position notes from their lobbyist, and a legislative calendar filtered to their issues.

The portal is branded per firm (your branding, not Legisly's), and a WYSIWYG builder lets you customize what each client sees.

Yes. Legisly includes a Data Migration Wizard that imports your client bill lists, positions, tags, notes, and historical tracking data via CSV/Excel. We support imports from any legacy legislative tracking system.

Absolutely. Legisly uses multi-tenant architecture with strict firm and client separation. We use bank-level encryption for all data in transit and at rest. Client positions, internal memos, and firm data are never shared between tenants.

Coming soon FPPC compliance is on the roadmap, not in the product yet. The plan is contribution tracking, 460/496 form workflows, a fundraising activity log per client, and deadline alerts for filing dates.

Yes — every plan starts with a 14-day free trial. A card is required to begin, but nothing is charged today; the first payment lands when the trial ends, and you can cancel any time before that.
